C’est l’événement tatouage de cette rentrée. Du 28 au 30 septembre 2012 se tient la 8ème édition de la London Tattoo Convention, l’une des plus grosses conventions tatouage au monde.
Pour cette édition 2012, plus de 20 000 participants sont attendus et ce sont pas moins de 13 espaces stériles qui attendront les candidats désirant se faire encrer par quelques uns des tatoueurs les plus connus du monde. En effet, 300 tatoueurs bénéficient pour le moment d’une accréditation pour la London Tattoo Convention alors qu’il existe une liste d’attente de plus de 100 artistes tatoueurs désirant participer à cette 8ème édition.
La convention aura lieu au sein du Tobacco Dock, un magnifique bâtiment de l’époque victorienne, située à quelques minutes dans le centre de Londres.

London Tattoo Convention
The 8th London International Tattoo Convention, which has evolved into the biggest, best, most significant, and utterly awesome convention in the world, has been confirmed for the weekend of September 28/29/30 2012 at Tobacco Dock, 50 Porters Walk, Wapping, E1W 2SF.
This year, the Tattoo Life Magazine event organisers have gone all the way to add even more attractions, amazing alternative entertainers, inspirational exhibitions, bands and musical acts at this inexorably expanding, world record breaking, mega event.
The numbers speak clearly: 20,000+ visitors for the 2010 and 2011 convention with increasing media interest, this is what makes London the number one event in the world.
Even more of (the UK and) the world’s most famous tattoo artists will be practicing their art in public than ever before, working in every style of the art form under the sun in the thirteen sterile halls dedicated to tattooing.
Over 300 elite tattoo artists have already been confirmed and there is a waiting list of more than 1,000 big names still hoping to be accredited. Miami Ink / NYC Ink star Ami James will come to the London Tattoo Convention for the first time.
A whole host of hot musical acts have already been booked for the London International Tattoo Convention 2012.
After three years at the Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane, the convention was moved to Tobacco Dock, a beautiful Victorian building totally renovated, located in the heart of London, a few minutes from the Tower Bridge. It was built in 1812 as a deposit and market for the tobacco coming from India. The building underwent renovation starting from 1990 and has now become one of the main centres for events. It was in fact nicknamed Covent Garden of the East End.
